Why this role matters:

The Senior Manager, Global Partner Operations is responsible for end-to-end management of operations around third-party content and providers.  The job oversees provider onboarding, royalty payments, reporting, revenue share reconciliations, content analysis and provider support, along with ad hoc troubleshooting and requests. Establishing and maintaining the internal processes for the above activities, along with keeping accurate partner data is essential to success.

The role requires a highly organized individual with the ability to work across AP departments and navigate complex technical, financial and legal processes.

What you will do:

  • Manage the operational onboarding of third-party content providers, including contract compliance and system setup.
  • Develop and maintain partner documentation.
  • Oversee revenue-sharing processes for partners, contributors and freelancers.
  • Manage and perform reporting and revenue share to ImageShare members.
  • Ensure delivery of accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to partners.
  • Conduct regular audits against entitlements to proactively avoid reconciliations.
  • Manage ad-hoc requests for revenue share and royalty payment reconciliations.
  • Manage non-business communications with partners and subagents, such as information about onboarding, technical and reporting requirements, corrections and removals.
  • Ensure partner content rights, restrictions and distribution rights are met.
  • Maintain internal controls for partner financials.
  • Maintain all partner-related data.
  • Analyze partner performance and business results; translate insights into clear recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Products, Sales Operations, Sales, Finance and Technology to refine and improve the partner reporting processes and systems.

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree, technical degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the photo, video or news industry.  
  • Advanced skills in Excel required.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Project management skills a plus.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities and manage deadlines.
  • Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills required.

AP works on a hybrid schedule with three days in the office, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

 

Salary & Benefits: 

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 – 105,000 based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications and location. The Associated Press offers comprehensive benefits, which include:
