The Associated Press seeks an exceptional B2B Marketing Manager to join the global marketing team, located in New York, NY.


The Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategic and tactical marketing programs across global AP’s business units, with a focus on the U.S and Latin America. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Marketing, the manager will play a key role in developing and implementing effective, measurable marketing strategies and product positioning to drive business growth, retain and upsell existing customers and capitalize on opportunities to raise AP brand awareness. The marketing manager will also be responsible for the production and timelines of global marketing collateral, including product brochures, advertising, webinars, sales presentations, etc.


The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has the ability to work independently, as well as a solid track record of working closely with product managers, creative teams and outside vendors to build relationships and maximize revenue through lead generation and customer retention.


Responsibilities will include identifying opportunities to drive increased prospect and customer engagement, creating marketing campaigns through paid and organic channels, leading marketing content development, assisting with product positioning and tracking marketing activity to provide recommendations for future efforts.


Specific duties include:

  • Support the Deputy Director in the creation and execution of key brand and product marketing campaigns.
  • Manage marketing support for product and business areas as assigned.
  • Work with product managers, sales and creative teams to develop marketing collateral across AP’s global product set.
  • Help manage paid display ad and paid social campaigns.
  • Organize and maintain up-to-date library of global marketing collateral.
  • Manage workflow of projects and campaigns from start to finish.
  • Monitor marketing campaigns and collect metrics to calculate ROI and suggest continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with other marketing managers in New York and London to ensure an integrated approach.
  • Contribute new ideas, trends and recommendations to on-going marketing activity.



  • 3-5 years of related experience with proven success in driving customer acquisition and retention rates against aggressive revenue goals is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing campaigns is essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate and improve ROI on paid advertising opportunities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously; demonstrated flexibility and ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent writer, good verbal communication skills is required.
  • Highly organized, creative and critical thinker.
  • Familiarity with marketing and PR strategies in a B2B environment is preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Well organized with strong attention to detail within a deadline driven environment.
  • Experience using CRM and analytics, campaign tracking tools and web content management systems.
  • Spanish or Portuguese-speaking is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally is required.




Advanced-level professional competency in written and spoken English language is required.  Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is mandatory.


Due to Covid restrictions, we are currently working on a remote basis. When the restrictions are lifted, the successful applicant will work from AP’s New York office under a hybrid work arrangement.
