The Associated Press is seeking a Global Partner Operations Manager.  


The operations manager is responsible for all partner reporting and processes.  This includes reporting, royalty payments, revenue share reconciliations and related activities for global partner sales across all formats. Establishing and maintaining the internal processes for the above activities along with maintaining accurate partner data is essential to success in this role.



  • Create and distribute weekly and monthly reports.
  • Manage and perform partner, contributor, and freelance royalty revenue reporting.
  • Manage and perform reporting and revenue share to ImageShare members.
  • Manage ad-hoc requests for revenue share and royalty payment reconciliations.
  • Manage non-business communications with partners and subagents, such as information about skills needed/required, corrections and removals.
  • Ensure partner content rights, restrictions and distribution rights are met.
  • Maintain partner-related data.
  • Collaborate with Products,Sales Operations,, Sales, Finance and Technology, to refine and improve the partner reporting processes and systems.
  • Supervise Partner Content Manager




  • College degree, technical degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Five years working in the photo, video or news industry.  
  • Advanced skills in Excel required.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Project management skills a plus.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities and manage deadlines.
  • Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills required.


The position can be located anywhere in the United States or United Kingdom . It will require working with teams in New York and London and supervising staff in New York.


Advanced-level professional competency in written and spoken English is mandatory.  Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is mandatory.


Due to Covid restrictions, we are currently working on a remote basis. When the restrictions are lifted, the successful applicant will work from AP’s New York or London office.
