Why This Role Matters

AP Workflow Solutions is entering a new phase of growth in North America and we’re looking for someone who can help lead that momentum. As Business Development Manager, Strategic Growth, you’ll focus on building relationships, opening doors, and shaping the early stages of a smarter, more scalable sales approach.

You’ll work across our core workflow products, including AP Storytelling, a powerful platform for planning, producing and publishing content across formats, and ENPS, the industry-leading newsroom computer system trusted by journalists worldwide. These solutions help media organizations work faster and more collaboratively, and your role is to bring them to the companies that need them most.

This isn’t about plugging into a mature system, it’s about helping build a new one. You’ll be a close partner to the Director of Strategic Growth, turning strategy into real-world traction with enterprise clients.

What You’ll Own

  • New Business Development
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with enterprise clients (1,000+ employees), with an emphasis on media and entertainment.
  • Sales Strategy Execution
Support the development and refinement of go-to-market approaches, testing messaging, refining pitch materials, and sharing insights from the field.
  • Pipeline Management
Build and manage an early-stage sales pipeline using Salesforce or similar CRM tools. Forecast accurately, report clearly, and help shape how we track success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, product, and the global sales team to ensure aligned messaging and a consistent customer experience.
  • Customer Insights
Surface learnings from prospects to inform product development, positioning, and future outreach.

Who You Are

  • 3 or more years of experience selling enterprise SaaS to medium and large organizations (1,000+ employees) is required.
  • Experience in or selling to the media and entertainment sector is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of contributing to mid- to high single-digit revenue growth over multiple years.
  • Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.
  • Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal and Business teams.
  • Comfortable working independently—motivated, organized, and proactive in an evolving environment.
  • Thoughtful communicator and strong presenter, able to adapt your message to different audiences.
  • Technically adept and attuned to how organizations evaluate and adopt enterprise software.
  • Familiar with Salesforce or a similar CRM; experience with forecasting and reporting expected.
  • You’ve improved or innovated aspects of previous sales roles and can share examples.

What You'll Be Supported With

  • Direct mentorship and collaboration with the Director of Strategic Growth
  • A clear connection between your work and broader company strategy
  • Support from AP’s product, marketing, and global sales teams
  • Flexibility to test, learn, and iterate as we build out the growth engine
  • A role that’s designed to evolve alongside the business
