Why this role matters:
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager – Global Revenue, the Financial Analyst will work with departmental leaders on all aspects of Sales International selling expenses and bonus calculations, including ad-hoc project work. They will also support revenue forecasting and budgeting for various business groups.
What you will do:
- Ownership of all aspects of Sales International selling expenses, including working with Senior Management to budget within expense targets and agree monthly forecasts, inputting monthly rolling forecasts through Essbase, conducting monthly reviews of actuals and booking of accruals.
- Responsible for all bonus calculations, including monthly and annual Archive commissions and bonuses, annual Sales International bonuses and annual bonuses within the AP’s AP-360 division.
- Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager to ensure the provision of accurate data as a basis for forecasting and budgeting.
- Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager with month end variance analysis and preparation of month end reports.
- Preparing the Ap-360 flash report.
- Any other tasks as designated by the Commercial Finance Manage
Who you are:
Required:
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Confident working with large amounts of data.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar industry / business environment.
- Proven experience working with budgets, forecasts, expense management, accruals, and bonus/commission calculations.
- Flexible with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to summarise and present financial results, trends, variances and insights clearly to business stakeholders.
